Lucas Lisitsky holds a Juris Doctorate from Osgoode Hall Law School and an Honours Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto, where he majored in human biology and physiology.
Having originally joined Verkhovets Law in 2023 as an articling student, he is an enthusiastic advocate who carries a scientific mindset to the practice of law and takes a methodical and detail-focused approach in his personal injury practice.
At Verkhovets Law, Lucas handles claims arising from injuries caused by motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, and other injuries inflicted by negligence.
Born in Mississauga and raised in Vaughan, Lucas originally found himself drawn to the personal injury field as it provided him an avenue to use his knowledge, skills, and talents to advocate on behalf of normal, ordinary people.
Despite being a relatively young call, Lucas has been quickly establishing himself as a dedicated and effective advocate for his clients in tort and accident benefits claims.
Prior to his admittance to law school, Lucas regularly volunteered with children and families at SickKids Hospital and is well-familiar with the struggles that injured people and their families face.
He firmly believes that a personal injury lawyer should treat his clients the way that he himself would want to be treated and takes a compassionate approach to client service.
A skilled written and verbal communicator, Lucas knows how to guide his clients through the legal process in a direct and easy-to-understand way.
He has written materials presented before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, License Appeal Tribunal, and Workplace Safety and Appeals Tribunal, and is adept at weaving the law, hard evidence, and human experiences into a compelling and convincing case for his clients.
Lucas speaks English with native fluency and French with intermediate proficiency.
